GEORGE AND THE DRAGONET" AND "LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD"), TO HARRY BELAFONTE ("BANANA BOAT SONG"), TO LAWRENCE WELK ("WUN'ERFUL, WUN'ERFUL"), TO THE PLATTERS ("THE GREAT PRETENDER"), EVEN RECORDING A SIDE SPLITTING PARODY OF ELVIS PRESLEY ("HEARTBREAK HOTEL")!! HE EVEN RECORDED A SHARP, RIGHT-ON-TARGET INDICTMENT OF THE COMMERCIALISM OF CHRISTMAS ("GREEN CHRISTMAS"), WHICH WAS CONSIDERED CONTROVERSIAL WHEN IT WAS RELEASED IN 1958.
FREBERG'S 1961 ALBUM, "STAN FREBERG PRESENTS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, VOLUME ONE", IS CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE HIS MASTERPIECE. HE RECORDED A SEQUEL, "STAN FREBERG PRESENTS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, VOLUME TWO" IN 1996. HIS 1999 RELEASE, THE "TIP OF THE FREBERG" BOX SET, CONTAINS ALL OF HIS GREATEST MATERIAL AS WELL AS A VIDEOTAPE OF ALL OF THE HILARIOUS COMMERCIALS HE'S MADE OVER THE YEARS.
