Janet Lee (Avery) Imgrund July 12, 1937 --- June 15, 2014 Janet Lee (Avery) Imgrund, wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away April 5, 2020 at Marisol Green Homes in Loveland, CO. Janet was born in Brainerd, MN to Leroy and Evelyn Avery she was the eldest of 5 children. Janet attended Catholic school and was awarded Best Dancer in her senior year. Janet was united in marriage to Gerald Jerry Imgrund on June 2, 1956. They lived most of their life in Thief River Falls, MN where Janet was an active member at Saint Bernards church and loved helping out in any way she could at her childrens schools. She was an active hockey mom for all three of her sons, she would cheer for them all the while covering her eyes during the rough actions. She also worked as a hostess at the American Legion where she enjoyed being surrounded by her friends, co-workers and neighbors. Her youngest son Daniel has fond memories and appreciation of his mom helping him deliver the heavy Sunday newspapers. Janet was an excellent homemaker, caring for her children and husband first and foremost.They made a big move to Colorado in 1989 to be near their daughter Karen. They settled down in Ft. Collins, and began to enjoy their grandchildren and retired life. Janets greatest joys were her children and her grandchildren. She hosted many sleepovers with her grand-kids and shared her love of cooking and telling great stories . She always made everyone feel welcome. A celebration of Janets life will be held on a future date when family and friends can gather together safely.
