Robert Wyman Boese August 8, 1937 --- February 15, 2016 Robert W. Boese, 78, resident of Brainerd, MN, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 in Minneapolis. Bob was born August 8, 1937 in Brainerd to Dwight and Pearl Boese. attended Brainerd schools and served as a Seargent in the US Air Force. Bob retired as truck maintenance supervisor for New World Van Lines. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and bingo. Bob was a member of the Eagles Club. Surviving are 3-sons, Randy of Chicago, Illinois, Michael of Montgomery, Illinois, and Stephen of Alsip, Illinois; grandson Jakob Morrison-Boese; step-daughters, Cindy Niemann, Jodi Thielen and Bonnie Meyer. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn and brother Donald. Visitation will begin at 11 AM with services 12:30 PM Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Pastor David Holte will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by Brainerd American Legion and VFW Color Guard. Arrangements by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd, MN.
