Gary Wayne Johnson March 05, 1937 - - - July 03, 2005 Gary, 68, of 1160 Bare Point Road, Alpena, Mich., passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Tendercare-Alpena. Born March 5, 1937, in Brainerd, Minn., to Lloyd and Eleanor (Kleinschmidt) Johnson and married Marlene Ann Daoust on August 29, 1958. Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Air Force, later working at Fletcher Paper for 32 years before retiring in 1991. Surviving wife, Marlene; a daughter, Laura Johnson, Long Lake; two sons, Jeff Johnson and fiancee Suzan Krey of Ossineke and Michael Johnson of South Bend, Ind.; two grandchildren, Cody and Nicole; one great-grandson, Jacob; a brother, Brian and Kay Johnson of Brainerd, Minn. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by an infant son, David, and an infant sister. Mr. Johnson is at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena, Mich., where friends may call on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and where funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.
