Irene M (Pickar) Goble November 14, 1937 - - - February 14, 2014 Irene, age 76 of Brainerd, passed away on Feb. 14 at the Little Falls Care Center. Irene was born on Nov. 14, 1937 in Brainerd to Clifford and Ann Pickar. She married the love of her life, Raymond Goble on June 8, 1957. Irene loved her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Irene could be found spending her time in the kitchen, canning, baking and preparing meals to share with her family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Tony (Natalie) of Brainerd, Lori (Keith) Putnam of Brainerd, Tim (Kathie) Goble of Brainerd; grandchildren, Justin (Laurie Jane) Goble, Josh (Sara) Goble, Marissa (Arlan) Franzen, Shawn Putnam, Jesse (Mary) Tromblay, Josh Tromblay, and Sharaia Goble; great-grandchildren, Atika, Kennidi, Talan, Taytum and Lucy. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond. A funeral service for Irene will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Holte officiating. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home-Brainerd Chapel, and one hour prior to the services, Tuesday at the church.
